Allegheny County Labor Council Endorses Dan Connolly in 18th Congressional District
Dan Connolly was endorsed this weekend by the Allegheny County Labor Council. This marks the first time a candidate in the 18th Congressional District other than Tim Murphy received their endorsement.
"People in western Pennsylvania deserve a voice in Congress that will work every day to bring jobs back to the region," said Dan Connolly. "I am going to spend every day from now until November reaching out to voters in the 18th Congressional District, listening to their concerns and talking to them about improving the economy, creating jobs and creating more opportunities for people to stay in western Pennsylvania and not have to look for opportunities elsewhere."
"My opponent is a cheerleader in the Party of No. Mr. Murphy voted against the jobs bill that is putting people to work. While the costs of health care are crippling families in our region, my opponent has turned his back on solving the problem and supported the insurance companies that fund his campaign. People are hurting in western Pennsylvania but my opponent is more concerned with pleasing Republican Party bosses than looking after his real bosses: the people of the 18th Congressional District."
